No matter the industry, no company is immune to the challenge of how to make their internal meetings more vibrant and engaging—especially in this modern era of remote workers and distributed teams. Companies like Pliancy, a tech-enabled professional services company with team members across the US, have to consider how they’ll reach employees across numerous time zones in a way that feels, well, worth watching.
On a quest for a solution to make their virtual meetings more dynamic and interactive, Pliancy approached Brandlive. Their primary challenge revolved around how to elevate their virtual Allhands meetings in a way that would increase engagement and build a greater sense of community across their internal team.
The path forward? Increase the quality of their meeting content and provide more opportunities to foster more meaningful interactions among participants.
To meet their content quality standards, Pliancy hopped into Brandlive’s Greenroom and the transformation process began. The first major change they implemented was breaking the meetings up into segments to keep content fresh rather than feeling like another standard-issue Zoom meeting.
Then it was time to get creative. The Pliancy team developed unexpected themes and corresponding intro videos that surprised (and delighted!) their viewers, riffing on pop culture moments like the Super Bowl and TV shows like Stranger Things. They even went so far as to make clandestine requests for colleagues to share childhood photos, using them to recreate the intro to HBO’s Succession.

In addition to creating segments and developing themed graphics packages for their meetings, Greenroom enabled Pliancy’s presenters to have more comfort and control during their presentations. For example, because presenters can advance their own slides, the awkward call for “next slide, please” has become a thing of the past.
Pliancy’s new approach to their Allhands meetings had an immediate positive response: creative intros and themes have now become a distinguishing feature of their meetings. This approach heightens the anticipation for meetings, ensuring participants are engaged from the outset.
Unlike yet another cookie-cutter corporate gathering, Pliancy’s approach inspired robust audience engagement—with the chat logs to prove it. Voices across the organization, including leadership, have complimented Pliancy’s creative team on the ambition and execution of these meetings.
The team’s investment in Brandlive has transformed their quarterly meetings from basic Zoom webinars into hyped-up events that capture audience members’ attention. Thanks to Brandlive’s tools, Pliancy is able to keep their teams informed, maximize employee buy-in, and inspire company pride.
