Cognizant’s Impact Awards are a cornerstone of employee recognition—an annual celebration of excellence that spans countries, teams, and time zones. As the company continued to grow, so did the vision for what this event could be. A simple virtual meeting no longer reflected the scale, prestige, or energy behind the initiative.
They needed an experience that honored award recipients with the production value and polish their contributions deserved. Something immersive. Something unifying. Something that could connect tens of thousands of employees across the globe, while still feeling personal and purposeful.
Cognizant partnered with Brandlive in 2024 to bring that vision to life—leaning on a full-service approach to production, creative, and technical support. Brandlive managed the entire run of show, coordinated on-site filming, and produced a fully customized event experience with unique branding, graphics, and audience engagement tools. The first year featured three physical locations, 1250,000 regional watch parties, and 25,000 registrations—all brought together by a seamless live broadcast.
By 2025, the event expanded dramatically: five physical stages, 20 watch parties, and more than 50,000 engagements from employees across 50 countries. From stage design and lighting to video direction, Greenroom graphics, lower thirds, walk-up cards, and even the design of the trophy itself—Brandlive delivered a turnkey production that matched the importance of the moment.
The Impact Awards quickly became a milestone for the entire company—not just for the honorees, but for employees across every region. Leaders were featured across the show, watch parties buzzed with energy, and teams around the world joined in to celebrate their peers.
